Don't these look delicious?! I just made them. and they are. perfectly golden, soft, warm, cookies. I admit, I am a cookie snob. I can't help it. I like my cookies and I like them just how I like:) Yesterday I went to a career fair near Roanoke. I talked to people from two agencies I would love to work for- Project Horizon and Family Preservation Services. Project Horizon is a shelter and center for victims of domestic violence that is located in Lexington. Family Preservation Services works to provide a holistic approach to helping families stay together- they serve those at risk of losing their children and kids with emotional issues. I know several SVU graduates that have worked at both places. The lady at PH said she has been very happy with the SVU grads who work there, and said she would really like to set up an interview with me... yeaya! Hopefully this leads to a job for me... I would feel really blessed to get a job in today's market and in my field, in this area...
