Charly's four month update

My little baby is growing up! Ok, so she is only four months old, but so much changes in the first four months! I am amazed at the things she is able to do, and I always say to Matt "she is such a little human!" She is no longer my little bump-on-a-log baby. She has a personality. She laughs. She plays. She even gets a little 'tude with me sometimes.

She has gone from an 8lb 9oz puffy little newborn...

...to a sleepy 1 month old...

...to a smiling 2 month old...

...to a 3 month old with piercing blue eyes...

...to the delightful little 13lb 10oz 4 month old she is today!

She loves reading books! This one we checked out from the library is her current fav

She likes to scratch at the pages and even tries to turn them- sometimes successfully!

She's over her obsession with staring at her hands, but still loves to play with them. She manages to interlace them like this more often than you would think.

Tuckered out from playing in the grass

Our pediatrician was impressed with how active she is. We are loving it! Even though it was pretty easy when she was like this...

She's a pretty fun kid to have around. I can't wait to see what the rest of this year has in store for us!
