I was not blessed with thick or voluminous hair. It is not inordinately thin (did I make that word up?), but it is certainly lacking in volume and substance. I've been growing it out because I need something super low maintenance now that I'm a mom. I thought about chopping it all off (and still might) but decided that since I'd gotten this far in growing it out I should give the longer hair thing a shot. And by longer, I mean shoulder length. The problem is, the longer my not thick hair gets, the more drab and lifeless it seems. It gets tangled, flat, and I get frustrated and end up with a ponytail five days a week.

Enter Umberto. My sister-in-law Candice (she did this guest post) is super savvy when it comes to beauty products, and she had both the round and oval versions of this brush. I tried them out a while ago, and sweet mercy did they do a number for my hair. It was shiny. It was smooth. It was voluminous. Best of all, I didn't have to straighten my hair after drying, which I always have to do. I finally broke down and bought one of these professional quality brushes a week or so ago. I LOVE it! I've been wearing my hair down most every day, and by the end of the day it still looks good! I never would have believed that a brush could make this big of a difference unless I had tried it myself.

Does this sound like a promo? I wish I was getting paid to say this. Nope, I really just love this brush.
And now, because its my blog and I can, a song about a hairbrush:
The end.
Have a great weekend everyone! I'm excited to not have plans- who knows, maybe we'll get something done around the house or have a picnic or something. Anyone doing anything fun? Or buying a new hairbrush?
