I know I have been slacking on the food portion of our blog. My list of things I want to make is forever increasing and my desire and time to make them is declining. It is time once again to rock the vote! Hopefully with your help I can decide on what to make next and with a little pressure will be able to make it happen! Here is a refresher on how this all works: On the right side of our blog is a poll. It lists several options that are also listed below on this post. Last time many of you commented on the post and I wasn't sure if you had also taken the poll and didn't know if I was double counting the votes. If you do wish to comment (which I hope you do), please let me know if you have voted in the poll.

Sweet Corn Tamale Cakes (a replica of the Cheese Cake Factory)
I have to tell you I am addicted to these. I get them everytime I go to the Cheese Cake Factory and I always wish I had more. I have been holding off on these only because I don't think I have the will not to make them and eat them everyday.
Braised Short Ribs
These low and slow short ribs are the definition of food porn. They just look so tender and are falling off the bone! I would like to make note that the 10 Commandments say nothing about coveting food, at least as far as I can tell. If I am wrong I am in deep trouble! By the way, I would put these bad boys over some grits or polenta and just drizzle the sauce right over!
Chicken with Creamy Cilantro Lime Suace
This may not be the fanciest option, but I am crazy about cilantro. Ask Holli, I go crazy for the stuff! It was the creamy cilantro lime sauce that caught my eye and looks good sitting on top of that crispy chicken. It looks easy enough and who knows, it may just be a new staple in our house!
Chicken Piccata
Chicken Piccata is a classic dish. Light, fresh and creamy, with a little bit of lemon! This is perfect over angel hair pasta. This recipe is fancy, yet doesn't involve a lot of effort. It is a definite contender for the title!
