Or maybe this:
And then there is this one:
Hmm, so hard to choose!
Halloween was great. Charly's costume was adorable (although way too much work- every baby I have will be a lamb now) and Matt and I even dressed up for the church Trunk or Treat. My camera battery was dead, so a friend took a picture of us for me. Thanks Heidi!
As you can see, we went the theme route this year. Matt was happy when we showed up so people stopped calling him a cowboy.
We also enjoyed the festivities by going to Leesburg's Halloween parade. We were a little late because Matt had an appointment, but we made it in time for the political campaign part of the parade. Not so exciting, but they did give out candy, which we graciously accepted even though it was clear that our child couldn't eat it and we'd be partaking of it all.
Charly kept this bag of lemonheads in her mouth the entire time. She had very little reaction to the parade but we were happy just toting her around while people around us said things like "look at that adorable lamb!" "that is the cutest baby ever!" and "that baby is so cute I'm going to steal her and clone her so I can have one of my own!" Ok, that one wasn't said at the parade, but it has been said by Kathryn multiple times, minus the stealing part.
Moving on from Halloween, my sister came to visit! She and her friend Tillie came for a week and it was a great time! I hope they had as much fun as I did! Sadly, I took very few pictures while they were here. In fact, I don't have one with either of them in it! I stole these pictures from Erin's facebook as proof that they did indeed visit.

We did lots of delightful things, like visiting monuments and museums, see the presidential motorcade, visit downtown Leesburg and do glitter toes. Good times are had at Casa de Coats. Come visit! You can hold my baby!
We also got our family pictures the other day, and just in case any of you were wondering, they are fabulous. Seriously. Charly was pretty tired and not her laughing self when we were taking them, so I was amazed that Brinn was able to capture her personality so well. I'll just post a few, since the pictures of Charly count is up to seven already in this post, but check these out:
I can't pick a favorite- although that cheeser grin she's making while poking out from behind the tree gets me every time!
I realize this is a bit of a schizophrenic post, but I needed to catch up so I can get back to posting some current stuff. I've got projects going on in preparation for Christmas that I can't wait to share!
And speaking of Christmas... don't worry, Thanksgiving, I haven't forgotten about you. Some day I'll REALLY decorate for Thanksgiving, but this year I printed out this cute banner and hung it up. The display is a little sloppy with all our electronics and what not, but hey, we actually live here:)
