I threw the flat sheet over the couch and her tiny IKEA high chair and VOILA! A fort was born. A tiny, impromptu, not-at-all impressive fort, but it served its purpose beautifully. My little girl was delighted to crawl under and through the magical white cave, and even more delighted to see her fully grown mama try to do the same.
I'll file this one under my New Year's resolution to be more intentional. A sort of sub-goal of that is to play more with Charly. This took exactly 15 seconds to prep and 30 or so minutes of play was had. I'd call that a success!
PS- these pictures were taken with our new lens! Yay for early birthday gifts! We wanted to have it in time for our upcoming trip to Utah and for Charly's first birthday. Expect a whole lot of pictures in the near future!
