Charly playing with Donovan, cats with hair or without, she doesn't discriminate.
At 14 months she is quite the chatter box. She is learning words faster then we can keep count. We are constantly saying to each other, "Did you know she can say that?" She loves animals and loves to make their noises. She is learning her body parts as well. She can identify and say nose, legs, hair, ears, hands and feet. We are working on eyes. She has even put a couple of words together like "Dada wawa" and "more cheese" She also knows how to say "sit" and "shark" which both sound like the "S" word (sorry for the harsh letter, I know it's a family blog). She decided to say this really loud at the library multiple times. In her defense they were singing a song called "Baby Shark", they kind of had it coming if you ask me.
Charly doing a sorting and discovery activity.
She is in a big sorting phase. She will organize things and put things in other things. She loves to put toys in her little basket and carry it around. Holli is capitalizing on this phase and getting her to clean up. So far so good!
She is turning in to such a little girl. She loves to put things on her arm like a bracelet. She loves shoes and cell phones. She loves playing with her babies. She will hug them and kiss them and will pull their binkies out and cry for them and then put them back in to calm them down. It's really cute She is all girl right now!
Notice her bracelet
With the nice weather she is all about going outside. She just looks longingly out the window and says, "wing (for swing), "slide" and "side (for outside)" It doesn't help that you can see a playground from our window. Now she is a little more stable with her walking she will have a lot of fun playing outside this summer.
She is getting a little more affectionate, but not much. She is hugging more, and will even pat your back when she does it and say "pat pat" in this high soft little voice. Trust me if you ever see her ask her for a "pat pat." You wont regret it!
We love our little girl!
