Bacon Ice Cream

If you are thinking bacon ice cream is crazy just stop right there! I have to admit, for a split second, and I'm not proud of this, I doubted that it would be good. Then I realized my name isn't Jane Austen and I am a man, a man who loves bacon. With that momentary lapse in judgment out of the way I got to work! See look at how beautiful it looks!

Please note this ice cream isn't straight up bacon flavored. Something that delicious would kill any one who eats it. Except for this man:

The ice cream is more of a caramel flavor with a hint of bacon. It also has candied bacon bits mixed in to up the bacon factor! When ever I think about bacon bits this Jim Gaffigan bit always comes to mind:
