fourf a july!

Greetings anyone who actually reads this! You are getting a much shorter post this time, even though it has been about a month since the last one. Oh well.

Yesterday, to celebrate the independence of our nation we had a BBQ with some great people here in Buena Vista. Matt made some great ribs and kebabs and I made a famous Dobby Peach Cobbler. Later we went to the fireworks at VMI in Lexington. They have a big community event with hot air balloons, inflatable bouncy castles for kids and vendors with all the good stuff (funnel cakes, kettle corn, etc). I took a few pics of the fireworks that turned out well- and here they are!

I'm not sure which one is my favorite, but I sure enjoyed using my fancy camera to capture these!
