And the winner of the recipe food poll is…..

STEAK!

I love the feedback I got. I think the recipe vote was a huge success and I’m glad to be sharing a recipe that, you the readers, would like to see. It’s a good thing you guys chose steak, because steak is by far my favorite animal! So, stay tuned this week for the Broiled Tenderloin Steaks with Ginger Hoisin Glaze post. I am thinking about doing this again. Maybe next time I will do a side dish. Any thoughts? For all you who didn’t get your dish chosen don’t think that I’m not going to make the other things. Holli really wants that pizza bad, so that may pop up here in the near future. Keep your thoughts and comments coming and let me know if you have tried anything I posted and let me know how it turned out! This week, “Let us eat steak!”

Rock the Vote!

Ok Blog readers we have a problem.  There seems to be a lack of commenting and/or a lack of interest on the food posts. My last post “Huevos Rancheros mis amigos” had zero comments! ZERO! Did the Spanish scare you? I know Holli’s posts are a lot more fun and who wouldn’t want to comment on a picture of our sweet little girl? But people, we can’t let Holli win! Maybe my posts aren’t spicy enough or maybe our readers don’t like to cook, but I need a little more interaction from you folks (even the blogstalkers). Give me some feedback. Do I need to put more basic less adventurous recipes up? Do you want more desserts? How can I make this better?

In an effort to elicit more interaction from our readers I have decided to let you vote for what dish you want to see on the blog. All the contestants are foods that I have been wanting to make, but can’t decide on. With your help and votes I will make the winner and post a food blog about it. We will start with a main course, the next week we will vote on a side dish and the final week we will do dessert! If all goes well maybe I can make this a regular thing.

I would also like to know if you have tried any of the recipes that I have posted. I would love to know how it turned out and how you liked it. But without further ado our lovely contestants……

Survey Thursday!

The votes are in on last week's survey- 36% think Baby Coats will be a little boy, and 63% vote girl! Just because I am the crafty person that I am, I am hoping for a girl that I can dress and accessorize, but Matt is voting for a boy to carry on the family name.

The new survey is up, and this one is for all those who have experienced pregnancy or are currently experiencing it. I want to know what early symptoms you experienced. I am lucky so far to have avoided vomiting, but these other symptoms sure are pesky!

In other baby news, I rescheduled my first visit for June 7th (changed from the 19th) so we could go while my mom is visiting from Utah. I can't wait!
